The Nashville Police Department is a full service department located at 501 S. Barnes Street. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (except holidays). Police protection is provided 24 hours a day/365 days a year.
The Nashville Police Department has 14 full time sworn officers, 1 full time civilian records clerk and 9 part time sworn officers. The department is headed by the Chief of Police, William A. Creech, Jr. directing the police operations including the Lieutenant, records section, investigations, community services and 2 sergeants who supervise the traffic and patrol officers.
The department works closely with local law enforcement from the Nash County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement agencies in Nash and surrounding counties as well as various state and federal law enforcement agencies.
